Hey folks,
First thing I do when I get a new (used) vehicle is change the oil and plugs. I procrastinated for 5 months for this reason or that. I thought that the 90HP in an SUV (Kia Sportage) was just not enough motor and the sluggy (0-60 in 20 minutes) was something I'd have to live with.
Today, I ran across the bosch plugs I bought the day after I bought the car and decided to brake down and replace them (10 minutes). What I took out was some super duper 4 electrode plugs that someone had put in to boost performance. They were burned a reddish color and 2 electrodes were all but gon and the remaining 2 were kinda nasty looking. Put in the called for plugs and it runs like a striped assed ape. Can't wait to see what the gas mileage does.
