MF 50 trans question

My MF 50 is leaking badly from the transmission into the clutch and flywheel compartment. I have broke the tractor into. I believe that it is the seal on the main drive shaft. I have removed the four bolts that hold the power input shaft housing. Is there anything I need to know to do, or do I just pull it out. I don't want to mess up anything so I thought I would ask first? Will I have to removed the PTO plate that is just below it. Any advise on the removable of this and the installation would be very helpful. Are there any other seals that could be leaking oil into this area? Thanks, Jackey

A 35 comes out that way so I would think yours would also,,, best I remember I had to remove the clutch release shaft to remove the input shaft,,, the input and bearing housing/support will come out as a assy,,, the BRG housing extends into the trans 3 are 4",,, That should cover the leak
