Just bought this tractor. ? The clutch catches on the bottom as hard as you can push. Was pulling in the garage pushedclutch in and said oh ____ then the clutch finally realeased. Is there an adjustment or is it that all adjustment has been used up. The governor is leaking oil, thinking about just buying a new one and replacing it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

The release bearing may be trying to push through the clutch fingers. One I just worked on had the ends of the fingers worn off and sort of didi the same thing.

That can be caused by a lot of things. Dirty/rusty/oily clutch parts. Bad throw out bearing, pressure plate problems. Etc. etc. Only way to know for sure is to split it and look the clutch parts over and repair/replace as needed
