OT/Fingernail Clippers

Just got done blowing snow from my driveway and 4 other neighbors and sat down to trim nails. Does any one make a good pair of fingenail--toenail-- clippers anymore. Not this damn China junk.

Damn it Dave2 I thought you was serious, well maybe I couold use it on the big toenail that I dropped the planter box on when cleaning hmmmmmm.

Don't buy one that draws less than 6-7 amps. Google side grinders. Just a kidin

I have been up your road, and finaly started looking deeper in the boxes at a estate auction, those actualy work.

Makes you wonder where all the surgeons get their insturments from now days, and if they have the same issues we do.

I use a Dremel. :D Model 300, 1.15 amps.
Actually, I went to a podiatrist and he had a tool like a Dremel,
so I figured I could save some money and got one myself.
Works great on my callused feet too. I use a small sanding drum.
Apply lotion afterwards and my feet are in great shape.

You have to pick out the good ones on the rack. Look for the one where the cutting edges meet, no overbite or underbite. Then guard them so they don't get lost. Even the name brand ones ship many that don't cut because they cutting edges don't meet. You may have to smash the plastic bubble to squeeze them together. I like the ones with the clippings collector shrouds. They may less of a mess with the chards.

Yup, they're either good or junk from day one, no matter where they're manufactured. If one doesn't cut, throw it away and buy another 79 cent one.

The best that I have found are electronic nippers, (miniture side cutter) they are "PLATO MODEL 170 SHEARS". Just type that into GOOGLE, and will show many for sale on eBay, last pair I bought was about $14 delivered, the best bucks I ever spent, really gets after those turnedin toenails as well as a fine job on fingernails HTH

Check with your local pedestrian.

Just kidding - My clippers are so old the file has came loose, but they still cut good.

When I still had my own teeth, I just knawed them off. Of my fingers, that is. . .
