Propane cost

This is a follow up to the thread of two days ago. Here in NH land of the highest energy prices I got a delivery a few days ago and just opened the bill-
$5.80/gal. Thats into their 100 gal. tank thankfully I don't use much.

I learned last month I need to shop around. We've had the same propane supplier for 14 years, and in December the sold me propane at 4.50 or so a gallon. I week later I find out my neighbor got it for 2.16 from the same dealer. My neighbor says he always calls and negotiates a price. The good news is I got reimbursed when we called up and complained. What's that all about, I assume they were honest and the price was regulated, guess not.

Felled up yesterday, 300 gallon price $1.14 per gal.

I just received an email from a lady in CA and she said it was $4.19 a gallon and cost her $1700.00 to fill her tank. Hal

just remenber, if you're leasing a tank, you have to buy it from who ever owns it. That's why I own my tank. If I don't like the price from one dealer I'll price it else where
