Is anyone watching the history channel programs this week? I hope this is just a bunch of disinformation.

Yes, watching the show about their guesses as to how the dinosaurs died right now. Saw the last two also, I guess we will find out Dec. 21, 2012.

Poor old Nostrudomus, he has predicted the end of the world I think back in the 80's, 90's 2k and now 2012. Sells shows and books though.

No such thing as predicting it. When He wants it to happen it will.

The wife had one of those darn shows on the last time History Channel cycled them thru in September-ish. I told her I'm looking forward to Christmas 2012 for the simple fact that all that B.S. was WRONG, which I'm certain it will be. At that time, what "doomsday time" will we be counting down to next????

The History Channel and National Geographic are nothing but propaganda outlets for the envionmentalist wack jobs. Man is to blame for everything evil that happens in the world. Plus I am sick of their 'dramatizations' and re-enactments of history, re-writing history, inserting dialog that may or may not have been said, all in the name of sensationalism.

Read up on the cow flatulence tax and try this theory: Dinosaurs are alot larger than cows so produced more methane, then cavemen discovered fire. BIG BANG and first round of global warming.

Ah, is that what happened? Thinking it over, I used to watch History a lot, but now seem to have Discovery on all the time, don't even check History any more. Hadn't put any thought into that until this thread.

I had Directv a few years ago.Canceled it when I built the new house.Too tempting to sit and watch tv then work on the house.Now I have it,and I did notice the History channel is not what it used to be.Now I know why.

I agree. History and National Geographic are indeed proganda machines for the left.

But then so is ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, CNNHN, PBS, NPR, MSNBC, E!, Comedy Channel, OXGN, BBC and BBCA, History Int'l, LOGO, DISNEY, NIK, TIME Magazine, Newsweek, NY Times, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, USA Today, all the local newspapers owned by Gannett, and on, and on, and on.

But it's just not fair to have conservatives on AM radio. So external_link, Reid, and Pelosi will be enacting the "Fairness Doctrine" in order to silence them. They will stand for no dissention. No opposing opinion allowed.

More abundant fascisim.

They will tell us what we can drive, how much we can drive, what temperature we can set our thermostats to, what we can eat, how much we can eat, that we cannot smoke, how much we can earn, and tax us for gas emmissions from our animals.

Right in front of our eyes folks. Better stand up and do something.

They haven't had anything "good" on in the last year except for the series they ran on the "Enterprise". And that's only because someone specifically paid them to run it.

A good friend of mine used to pretty much just have the History channel on. He's more into airplanes, WWII, and so on than I am.

Two weeks ago out of the blue he said he can't watch History any more, he's tired of alien space craft.... Hadn't really thought about it until then, & now this thread.

Kinda funny.

The HC has defiantly dropped a few notches the last few years. I'm a big WWII buff, but I even agreed that you could call the HC the WWII channel back 4 years ago or so.

Now it's like the dropped that period of time completely, a real shame.

It seems they love Modern Marvels now, which isn't a bad a bad show but it's on way to much. The odd balls like Monster Tech, the UFO stuff and Gang Land are just a disgraces.

Some of the complaints in this thread are a little overboard though. There are different ideas out there, doesn't make them right or wrong, just theories.

On my TV guide it is called Nick. NIK is a news show from Japan. In reguards to childrens TV, I will defer to your expertise, as it is obvious you have made much greater study of this subject matter than I have. Although you admit no higher education, We have heard you on economics, theology, meterology, and now you are going to speak on geology and oil creation. And who could forget your election predictions. Don't get me wrong, I throughly enjoy reading your stuff. I know that you, as a Christian, are told by god to turn the other cheek and pray for us sinners. I grew up farming and ranching, parents, grand parents and great grand parents all farmer/ranchers. I have a letter from FSA that says I am a qualified producer. I own 3 old tractors, 1120 acres and 10 cows. When I am 50 and retire I will be buying anouther tractor and sticking a air drill in the ground. Yourself ?

NIK?, I think you are thinking of NHK, the Japanese equivalent of the BBC. They have multiple channels and are funded by a tax on TVs.
