Oliver/Fiat tractor?

I once owned an Oliver/ Fiat tractor, and I believe it was a model number 1250. It was a very nice tractor, a little larger than an 8N ford tractor, don't know what year, but it was probably in the 60's or early 70's. does anyone out there have knowledge of this model tractor? Thanks.

3 cylinder or 4? Oliver started importing the 4 cylinder in 1965. They were not the best Oliver ever, that's for sure. The later 1250A 3 cylinder was a lot better tractor. They began in 1969. That run was short when they went to the 1255 in late 69. Problem with the early 1250,the 4 cylinder, was the engine. They were an Italian military surplus engine and no parts are available.

That tractor was mechanically very similar to the Long 350-360-445-460 and the AC 5040. All made by UTB in Romania. Fiat did most of the design and licensed the manufacture.
