plowing Ice House

Just saw on the news this guy was plowing out his ice house with county loader, you know it, right through the ice, not a real good start of the new year, chances are it can only get better.

Yup,he got fired after 28 years on the job. Sounded like an accident to me,even though it was kinda stupid. As I understand it,he was clearing the boat ramp DOWN TO the ice but the loader slid out on to the ice and went through. Looked to me like it was running when they got it ashore.

Friend of mine, I mean his kids, decided to take the snow off the ice with a good size Dozer, went through the ice, Engine stayed running, but took all day, and a big Trackhoe to get it out. 12 yrs ago.
