HAPPY NEW YEAR

The old (very old) Massey combines used Chrysler flatheads. I have no idea what they might have used for flywheel housings, if any. But maybe.

No SAE bellhousings on the Masseys, just a goofy Massey casting with an outboard bearing.

thanks i'm familiar with phoenix casting..the flathead has a one piece flywheel housing in every automotive application i've seen so far.i have some marine stuff but it's for the front end of the engine and is a sae #5..much too small.

what i need will most likely be off a tractor, combine or forklift, maybe stationary i'm guessing.stacking multiple adapters sounds like a recipe for +/- .20" in every direction.not to mention the $2K.(phoenix)
any flattie that had an allison trans behind it is the right stuff too.AT540/545
