jacobsen lawn mower

a friend of mine just got a jacobsen mower with a wisconsin motor and it articulates in the middle. does anyone know anything about these mowers? thank you for your help.dave

Is it a mower or utility vehicle? I've never seen a Jac. with a Wisconson. They mostly used Kohlers but maybe it's older. My dad used to sell Jacobsen from the 60's to the early 80's and I don't remember ever seeing an articulated mower. Is it a commercial unit or a home owner unit? They did sell an articulated utility vehicle called a UV-4 that used a 16 H.P. Kohler. Dave

it is a lawnmower plus it also came with a sickle mower for it,
