Hello,

Working on replacing old hydraulic hoses with steel. Was wondering what wall thickness to use for hydraulic pressure 2500 psi.
options are 1/2" steel 1010 grade with wall thickness of
.035
.049
.058
.065

What is the thinnest I should use.

Thanks

This is a helpful table. I used 0.049 wall for replacing the lines on my 340.

Steel Hydraulic Tubing

The hyd. tubing table that is listed by Paul is good. Remember that for the extra few dollars go for the next size up in the tubing.
Dont skimp on that.

Why don't you use hydraulic hose? They're easier to install and you can make your own with reusable fittings. Hal
