O>T> Last post i had here was how much you guys helped on my trip to the mid=west. Little did I know 3 days latter I suffer a major Hart atack. Stayed in St Thomas Hart Institute 21 days But home now and on the mend. Sure did miss you guys.

I am so sorry to hear of the heart trouble, but thank the Lord you are still here. Hope you continue healing so you can keep enjoying these old tractors with us.

Jerry I don't know what to say to all that but it just goes to show everyone how fragile we all are and I just got off the phone with my son talking about that very thing. I hope you're on your way to a full recovery and I'm sure it is a wakeup call of which I hope everyone on here gets it. Take it easy pardner and I guess the worst thing is all that daytime TV. ;-< Get well soon we need a full audience on here. CT

Glad you made it! I had a minor one a few years back. Then two years later suffered CHF. Still taking several pills, including lasix. But I've been able to keep on doing, pretty much as before. Still farming! Follow the doc's orders, and keep at it. Don't let it limit you.

Its tough, Jerry. Had mine five years ago. Done all the things I"m supposed to do and have had no recurrant problems.

Read somewhere that "heart problems makes cowards of us." A little bit of indigestion and heartburn and you begin to wonder if this is the end of it. Cardiologist told me that a nationally known clinic kept some records on people who came in complaining of heart problems. He said 40 percent had heartburn and 40 percent had angina; and 20 percent had both.

My first tour in a combat zone I wondered how I"d be able to go to sleep knowing that a mortar or rocket could drop in. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. I slept ok.

After my cardio infraction I decided not to worry about it, not going to succumb to that fearing every little twitch bit.

jsb Strage you ask. What would happen is I would see days of my life just plain as day.When I was about 12 my fathers parents were bt killed in a car wreck. Saw the guy that came to tell my dad just as plain as day. Had a guy empty a 357 mag at me one day saw the real plain. Just about ever bad experience showed up real plain. Felt
like if I had closed my eyes I would have passed on away. Have had kiddney stones and lots of thing but You will Know it when You have a heart atack nothing like. Mine was not blockage like most people I had high blood preasue and it caused a rupture of the A aurota right out side my heart. Kind like a bliater seperated only one layer was holding when I got to Hospital Thanks again Jerry..All of you watch that blood preasure

Things can happen quickly. My wife had quadruple bypass surgery five years ago. She went from not knowing she had a problem to the OR in less than 12 hours.
