While we are all busy playing with our puters instead of getting things done outside in the cold we tell stories.
So a couple of friends of mine years ago pulled into a farmers yard, and of course 20 below and the wind was a cranking the snow around.
The farmer was inside his spreader out in the yard trying to put the web back in his spreader. As you older folks understand most farmer had no shop, let alone a heated one.
And most older folks understand manure spreader break downs and attitudes. Anyway as the farmer was putting the web back together he mised the front sprocket. The two brothers said hey Kenny you missed.......AT that very moment he screamed HELP I NEED! ADVISE I DON'T! So they left him go forward with his task. They stood around while the farmer pulled up to the barn and started loading the spreader with fresh cow manure. The decided then that it might be a good time to leave, even when the farmer asked if they needed something or they were there just to watch him work. And as Paul Harvey would say......And now the rest of the story.
The farmer never was a plesant person at any level regardless of the weather.
So now I use that phrase often. help I need advise I don't...especialy when I screw up in front of the crew.
