stomped around in the timber yesterday with the camera, took a few pics. had an ice storm the night before. cant seem to get the sprayer started, maybe needs a shot of ether!!!!

Isn't it great, today is the first day of winter.

A friendly reminder to all. When you talk about your weather and so on, include your location. That way we no whats happening around the earth.

We missed the ice 2 nites ago but got 3 inches of sleet. I have never seen anything like it when it came time to clear the stuff.

north central illinois, near dwight. -6 right now, cant get the tool shed doors open, ice froze em shut, blew a hydraulic line on the hustler snow blower last nite, thats stuck down at the neighbors, ahh the joys of winter!!
 
I've always considered winter with cold, snow, and ice as being God's punishment to mankind for the "origional Sin" in the Garden of Eden; I can think of no other explanation for something so loathesome.

thanks for posting the pics, enjoyed looking at them. also is a nice reminder of why i live in south texas. 8:30 am and its 47 degrees, predicted low tonight is 34.

Ahem....COOL....photos! I'd sure like to have that sprayer over here in Nebraska! It's -5° here this morning. Supposed to warm up to 5° today.
 
-14 in southwest wi, 15" of snow since thursday, 30mph wind. Could be worse,at least we'll see the sun today.
 
well its cold here to -16 this morning and wind blowing 25 to 30 mph got 5" of snow last night going to be even colder tonight. northwest wisconsin
 
its a store bought, cant remeber the name, has a 2 cyl wisconsin motor that drives the front tire via chain. been parked there a while. not far from the old grader. gonna have to fix em up someday.

where in sw wi? i'm in nw il. sitting on top of a hill nice in summer usually a nice breeze. we shoulds have looked this place in winter breeze is a gale and darn cold.
not many people past here today other than snow plow and maintainer. has a detroit screamer in it.
boy does that thing howl.
no telling how much snow as we have some big piles and other places bare ground.
