Has anyone seen small garden plots for rent for those people who don't have space for a garden at their place? If so I would like to know of any and what the cost is.
Thanks,
John

I don't know of any garden spots for rent, but you can install one of these as did my wife at the edge of the garden and she grew tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers.

El Toro that is one serious mater plant I'm not much of a mater fan but you just can't beat a nice big bowl of chili with with canned maters especially on a cold winters night I'm headin for the kitchen.

Our city has some vacant lots that they allow people to have gardens on. I have no idea what the city requires for the use of the lot, if anything. I have not seen any of them grow to be weed patches, they are nicely taken care of.

In this sue happy environment, your Insurance Company may have a fit with others getting hurt on your land...my guess as to why it's not common.

Garden Plots seemed to be common in Germany back in the 60s when I was there as an Army brat. Used by the folks living in the cities....haven't heard of this catching on over here. I recall very neat gardens, grouped together with small sheds for thier tools and other items...nice memory.

Thanks and have a great day in the USA.

Still are. Every town has an area and a waiting list.
