Anyone have a Perkins 4.203.2?

Anyone have a Perkins 4.203. I know they were in the L-785 skidsteers, and probably other machines. The handle pulled off of my dipstick and got lost. I need to make a new handle,but I need the dimensions of the dipstick. Perkins wants $50.00 for a new dipstick...
 
Don"t know a thing about a 4.203.2 but the 203 Perkins was in the MF255 and 65 at least. Maybe AGCO or an aftermarket one? Give me a couple of days and I"ll measure the 255 dipstick if it will help, don"t know if it"s the same for the skidsteer.
 
If it is the same perkins as used in Massey tractors the Massey Ferguson part # is 731117m91. This website has this for $9.95. Click on parts to the left.
 
I have a L-785 and the top broke off the dripstik just as yours. You need to screw out the stem that the dripstick go's in, to get the broken piece ot of the crankcase. then you can repair it or have a patern to make one. at any rate, the dripstick from the top of the stem is 12 and 3/8 inchs long. the add or "min mark" is 1/4 inch from end and full or max mark is 1 and 3/8 inchs from end. I took one from a 4 cylinder auto engine, cut to the right length, marked it with a file, does'e the job==saved 50.oo Hope this helps you .Happy Hollidays Lloyd
