making cultivators for a massey-harris 30

any of you ever attempt to make a set of cultivators for a 30 massey harris tractor, like to have this rig on this tractor along with a 50 gallon gravity applicator for fish oil, so i can cultivate row crops & apply fish oil at the same time. like to hear about how you made up the necessary parts have the shovels & their mounts, its the supporting parts that am questioning.

I mounted a 30gal tank on my A Farmall behind the seat then put a ball valve beside the seat and ran two pieces of garden hose from the valve to behind the front shovels. Used water mixed N on the sweetcorn. It worked great. Got the N that you would mix with water for a lawn as N is the same for whatever you would side dress. Any water mixed fert would work. I did three rows 30ft long using the 30gal. Sure made the sweet corn look good.

With fence rows filled with cultivators, why make them. Look for something like a three point Deere RG4.

That Massey has no three point and some did not have any hydrolicks. If you could rig up a 3 point the front end of that tractor with that type of cultivator would not stay on the ground. It was made for front mount cultivators, not rear mount.

You need some way to move the cultivator up and down, but you could start with a Deere FM4 though they aren't nearly so common, but the number of two cylinder tractors with front mount cultivator mounts hints that the cultivators should have been around. And even if the three point bar doesn't work the cultivator rigs can work.
