Christmas present for wife

If I was a successful farmer like the late IDF, I'd prolly get my wife a new Corvette.

But since I'm not, she's going to have to settle for a lot less.

Gave her a 1951 John Deere G...her car and mine AND the G still fit in the garage!! Also "gave " her a harp..thing come with music lessons to the tune of 130 a month! And I thought it was good of me to get the g in the garage and "save" 75 a month storage fees!!!ummmm? somehow or another this isn't going the way I thought it would...Charles

Bill asked his friend John what he was getting his wife for Xmas. John replied he wasn't getting her anything. She didn't use what he got her last year. What was that asked Bill. John replied, "A cemetery lot." rw

Too bad you can't post videos on here. got a neat one the other day about gifts NOT to get. Bunch of guys at the emergency room having stuff removed from various places. If you value your peace for the rest of your life, don't give cash or gift certificates (unless it's for something particular AND something she will like). A tractor with the idea of "it'll grow on her" may not be such a good idea.....

Mama is about as tough to buy for as I am. Really I'm easy to buy for I like new socks, new tee shirts (with pocket please), and new underpants. She more likes cosmetics and the girlie stuff. I have a favorite Mary Kay consultant that invites my wife and daughter to an open house every year around thanksgiving. Then in early December she calls me with the 'OK pal how much we spending this year?'question. I give her a dollar figure and a few days later I get a phone call to make the pick up. It's amazing I actually get the things Mama wants and needs, no muss no fuss.

My wife is horrible to buy for. The first year, I bought stuff not on her list--never do that again. Bought her a gift card to a manicure place. She never used it. This year she has a sun block for her car, new boots, a small tea pot, and and Wall-E DVD. The most fun is filling her sock. I get to be creative.

A remote starter for her Blazer, she leaves for work at 4:30 A.M. and it gets darn cold here in NW Wi. and I'm just not a nice enough guy to get up and run out there and start it for her when I don't have to get up for another hour. No garage to keep it warm and the shop is always full!!!

Always get a woman perfume they have a gene that makes them addicted to it.Spas visits are the in thing now and dont forget sleep wear and restaurant gift certificates.
