If I while moving I push clutch I have too put it back neutral an stop before it will pull again.Is t/a stuck or what "help"

I agree that 584's didn't have T/As.. Had the syncromesh transmission with reverse/high/low on one shifter and 4 speeds on the other shifter if I recall correctly. (8 forward speeds/4 reverse).

Could shift on the fly between speeds... ranges/directions required stopping (or atleast that's the way we were taught to run them).

Would [b:d19ebc76af]guess[/b:d19ebc76af] something in the syncronizer ...

Well this one has a leaver on left side of the steering wheel that push a plunger up and down in the top of transmission. I was told that it had t/a
 

Seems to me the "t/a" was optional on the 584....lever on left hand of column as described...
