ot / lp tank fork lift HELP

I,Am Ralph don't post here much but have been reading form for 4 or 5 years now and have got a lot of good information here and enjoy it a bunch. THANKS TO ALL FOR THAT.
NEED HELP recently purchased a clark forklift hase lp tank on it used for grill problem is starts fine and rev. up when inside where it's warm but 10 or 15 out in 10 degree weather, it still idles ok but dies when trying to accelerate do i need a regular forklift tank or shoud the grill tank be ok ? worked fine in warm weather. THAHKS FOR ANY HELP Ralph
 
Most of those setups feed liquid propane to a vaporizer/ regulator gizmo that uses hot engine coolant to vaporize the propane- what does your set up look like? Maybe a picture? Sounds like you are freezing up?
 
Most 33.33 lb fork lift tanks are liquid feed and hold about 7.3 gallons. The 20 lb "gas grill" are vapor feed holding about 4 gallon. You can get "some" liquid from them by laying them on their side, but usually not enough to run a fork lift. You can get the 33.33 tanks at Lowes, Menards, TSC for about $75 new and you"ll have better results.
