New Holland L425 Skid loader

I have been looking for a used loader and know where I can find an L425. It looks a little rough, but complete, and I think it won't be too expensive. Are there any common mechanical problems I should be aware of? Are they hydraulic drive or belt drive?

Thanks for the help.

I think all the L series are hydraulic and not the old mechanic clutch deals. I probably have an operators and service manual for it if you have some specific questions. The only thing I would warn you on is parts. NH is getting crazy money for the old skidloader parts. I have an L785. New quickattach plate is 2K. An oil dipstick for the perkins is $60.00. Yes, sixty, not six....

It does sound like a pretty nice machine. I found out the guy wants $4800 for it; I think thats a little steep. Although Ebay isn't a perfect price guide, they go for about half of that price with new paint and good tires, something this loader does not have. So, I think I', going to keep looking. Thanks for the reply.
