Any one else had these sickness going around this mess is awful kept me outta work alweek didnt get no beans cut an all this rain

Been pretty good lately. Everybody was sick 6-8 weeks ago, including me. Awful thing to come down with something dibilitating in college. The coursework doesn't stop or even slow down just because I'm too sick to do it, then I fall behind, and catching up is really really hard. I got just one more class left on monday, and I am done with this semester!

Now I have to put some thought into course selections for the spring semester. I am going to leave the algebra alone for now. I just plain had to study too hard and was burning myself out on it because I couldn't even take a day off. I won't need more math anyway unless I transfer to a 4 year school.

Went to a friends house to drop off replacement windows. He and his wife were sicker than dogs. Got my check, and left. Told him to stay away from me.

Everyone at work has had it. I had it yesterday and some of today but feeling much better now. Seems to be a twenty-four hour thing.

There was just a story on the news about an outbreak of it in Muskegon. Forget now what they called it. Said the very young and very old were affected. Said it's not airborn, passed by contact. Carriers stayed contageous up to 30 days after the symptoms go away. Several hospitalized.

My neice ended up in the hospital for 5 days the week of Thanksgiving. They ran a culture and found a bacteria in the lining of her stomach. The right antibiodics took care of it.

Hi jh,

My wife came up with a good one. Take a clove of minced garlic and steep in a cup of water. It may require 3 days of treatment.

Wow what instant relief that gives!

As much sauerkraut as you can stand (to flush out your system) followed by good food and plenty of water and/or fruit juice. Works for me anytime I start to feel down. Winters in my area are usually nasty. Never really cold enough to freeze, just soupy.
