Frost free mirrors

Don't have a idea on the frozen locks below but came up with an idea for keeping frost off the outside rear view mirrors. Put a plastic grocery bag over them and tie it with a household twist tie so it can be removed easily in the morning. I've only been licensed since the early 1950's so it took me a while to figure this out.

Yes, we do have frost in SC. Keeps the palm trees from taking the place.

Dad used to lay a towel over his windshield in winter as the heater core was broken in his 84 Mercury Capri same as the Mustang had to remove the dash to put another one in. I found that when I park under the tree there is less frost on my car

Covering a portion of the windshield with a towel will keep but one space clear. Laws generally required all windows and mirrors be free of blockage. Something I take seriously and abide by so that I can't be blamed for accidents because of it.
