front rims for farmall b

I am restoring a b I got new tires for the front 5-15 took old tires off [CAR TIRES] the rims are four inches wide inside edge to edge is this right or have the centers been cut out of car rims.Is this to wide of a rim for 500 tires?

pretty sure the b ran a 3x15 front rim. being an inch wider, i dont see too much of a problem running the wider rim on the b, as long as the tires dont touch on the narrowest setting.

Standard tire for the B IS 4.00X15 on the 3.oo rim which will measure 4.00 overall. So the 5.00x15 tires will fit just will look oversize for the B. The SA went to 5.00 and so did the C series. Its all how do you want it to look
