Is a 6 bolt jd wheel same as a 6 bolt Ford?

My brother in law says all 6 bolt implement wheels are the same, just as the 4 bolt rims are the same. I haven't found any 6 bolt that were different.

The bolt circle is the same, but I've found some that the center hole was different sized.

There is only 1 thing on our farm that doesn't have a standard 6 bolt rim. It's a running gear and there is no center hole in the rim- the rim itself acts as the grease cap for the hub. I think it's a 6 on 6 1/2" bolt circle, where as every thing else is 6 on 6".

So yes, it should be the same.

The bolt pattern is the same but the rim width and back spacing may be different....James
