soybean bales

I had a soybean field hailed on so we swathed it and round baled it,how do I feed them? will cows get sick on over eating? Dale

Before the discovery of the many uses of Soybeans they were used for cattle feed. Pigs cannot digest the raw soybeans and they have to be cooked to get any nutritional value out of them.

Feed it like you feed any other hay. Cows won't get sick, it's very nutrious hay.

Soybean was the premier legume hay in the South until at least the mid 60's. When cut at the right stage and properly cured it equals alfalfa in feed value.
