101 McCormick combine

I understand this combine has a high range for road travel but i don't know how or what to shift to accomplish this

we had one years ago, all I remember is 3spds. forward and that cutting 100 acres of soybeans 3 rows at a time in the cold with no cab seemed like a thousand!

There is a lever with latch and quadrant almost under the seat on the right side. That is the variable speed lever...clutch it, put it in third, start up and pull the lever up...the speed will increase as you pull it up.

Thanks, i should have known that.The operators manual listed the speeds as high and low range.Of course this variable speed drive does this.
