Deer feeding behavior?

Here in Western, Pa I have noticed that the deer aren't feeding as they usually do. They are feeding on grass and haven't hardly touched the corn yet. I have about 8 acres out for them and they usually have eaten about half of it by now.
Heck I even got enough to winter my horses on.
There are just as many deer around, so I guess I planted the wrong kind?

Might be something to that planting the wrong kind thing. There was a guy here (passed away a few years ago) who swore right up and down that some corn varieties were more suceptable to deer damage than others. Had a neighbor complaining to me the other day that there weren't any deer on his place. Another guy rents it. I had to try hard not to punch him for all the deer damage that I have. I told him that maybe he needs to let me plant something over there. The deer seem to eat EVERYTHING that I plant.

Did you happen to plant a GMO. Animals are smart enough not to eat it. Only human are dumb enough.

What extremist website did you get that from? I plant all GMO and the deer damage is getting to be intolerable. Damage in the thousands of $

Been told that lime or lack thereof or fertilizer can make the foodplots more or less palatable to deer, not sure though.
