that there is very nice with a cross bow I have not even got one with a rifle that big but the one I saw that I told about earlier was wider but closer to the head congrats.

What did he dress down to, ought to be some decent quantity there, hopefully they eat well around your area and the meat is good.
I think they just started into the rut, some of the larger bucks were out today, none I have seen prior to, Saturday ought to be good, lookin over those oats from my stand.

Don't really know the total weight but I would say around 150lbs give or take a little bit. Had part of the back strap last night in mushroom soup gravy and it sure was good. In this are of Missouri there isn't much as for grain crops so they just eat what ever they can find. I do my best to plant clover every year so as to help bring them in

Nope I only hunt on my place and have been doing so for more then a decade. Last year 5 of us took 12 deer off my place so figure why go some place else. For the most part I hunt for meat but when one that buck walks up I say well its big its meat and the antlers look good

If he was anything like the bucks in our area he would've been on the dead run if he seen you approaching 1 mile away.............now you weren't feeding him like the deer farms do and getting him calmed down prior to hunting season, were you?

Nope I never feed them other then putting out the food plots but he was a long ways from any of them. I sit in ladder stands so I don't walk up on them they walk up on me LOL. Shoot him at around 20 yards if even that far from me
