what weight transmission, differential, and hydraulic fluids should I use --can I use the same fluids for both the trans and diff?do they have to be ford tractor fluids or can I use new GL3 fluids for tractors

Current reccomendation from New Holland is to use 134D (or equivalant rated hyd./trans oil - no need to buy from NH, unless you want to) in all 3 compartments. Some will say 134 is too thin for the tranny and rear end, but I've been using it in my Jubilee for more than a decade now, with no problems, around 100 hours use per year.

If your tractor has a worn vane pump the 134 thins out when hot and you will lose lifting power.Change just the hydraulic system first and see if lift is affected.I use 90w in the differental and plan to dump the 134 from the trans mission and hyd system.I can lift a 12in 12foot ash log in cold weather. In summer 3 bales of hay are too much.
