I am the one that is trying to get the Super M with the starter problem fixed what do I really have ... I have the model as SM
with serial number of F 334495 cj....???

any help would be appreciated....

no teeth missing on the fly wheel am checking the slant of wheel...to see if things mesh up.

All IH have straight cut teeth on the Flywheel.
Drive you need is a clutch style drive for a Super M. The SM starters are all alike as far as drives go. JimN

Hello Ed,
most farmall H and M starters are the same, some are two bolt and some are three bolt. I would think yours is a Two bolt. If you tell me what your starter is doing maybe I can help.
