It lost all hyd. to SCV's and 3pt, the steering works fine. We checked the stroke & flow control valves in the pump, then we replaced the pressure control valve, we stopped all leaks under rockshaft, checked trans pump, capped off the 3pt load sense cylinder. we could get about 2gpm at no pressure at scv, so we thought maybe it was bypassing around through the steering, so we plugged off the steering and the scv's started working with 12-14 gpm at 2250psi even after reconnecting the steering. Now it will raise & fold the plow until the oil gets hot then it will take a 100 yards to raise the plow. anyone else had a similar problem?

we had a sort of similar problem on a CaseIH 5240, no flow and pressure out of SCV"s, but steering worked fine, after replacing many parts that weren"t faulty, the problem was eventually traced to a blow set of O-rings on an electric solenoid... to trace the fault, we used a 1cent coin to block off each line in turn coming off the compensator valve, when the problem goes away, look to see what that line supplies and then take it all apart to find the problem... we used a combination pressure flow meter on the SCV line at the compensator to check flows when other lines were blocked off... it was time consuming but worked for us... good luck
