Was watching the noon news ,, It said gas in Des Moines Ia. was $1.99.9 for ethanel blend 10% ...
I didn't think I would see it under 2 dollars again..
I guess it just shows you that if everbody cuts back alittle ,. things do happen.. takes awhile ...better injoy it.... it probable br SHORT live...

Around $2.39 here in metro Detroit area. Saw a couple stations just below that. As it was said above, conservation will drive the demand down and prices with it. My wife and I are doing our part, carpooling to work and cutting out unnecessary trips. Cut my gas consumption over half in the last 6 months and looking to save more. I feel bad though, they might have to cut back on the gold plating of the faucets over in Dubai and Saudia Arabia. :lol:

Went to eastern Colorado yesterday. On my way I found gas for 2.22 at Shanron Springs, Ks - and 2.32 in Goodland Ks.
Here at home in Rolla, Ks - still at 2.60 gl
What a difference a few miles make!!!!!!!!

I saw on the news that gas was 2.09 in Nicholasville ky last night.

I recommend prebuying what ever you can right now, if it goes up you use it, if it goes down you save it. Cheaper gas prices will help the economy, I beleive, but it has to stay low. 90% of my friends had quit all extra activities due to gas expenses. The other 10% kept living like a rock star and are now having the harsh reality of having no cash, no equity, and no chance of borrowing.

..I got it for $2.06 at wally world in Nicholasville. Is it still Bush's fault now that it's going down?;-0 That said, it probably won't stay there too long, enjoy it while ya can. Road diesel was $3.31 there too.

2.34 in Angola, IN. Isn't it funny how it goes up fast and drops slow. Sometimes taking weeks to drop a dime but hours to jump 20 cents.

Seen posted today around Madison, Wi area: 2.65 regular with ethanol. Diesel at 3.59. 2.84 straight regular. $2.98 premium. State and federal tax about .45/gallon.

It was $2.10 in Lamar ten miles to the north. The higher cost of diesel must increase the transportation cost since the fuel bunker is just south of Jasper.
