Ford 8n Front End Snowplow and Loader

Any suggestions on available Front-End Snowplows, and Loaders for a Ford 8n? I have just purchased a 1950 Ford 8n and I'm looking for these implements. Any suggestions that are NOT rare antiques and fairly easy to purchase?

My suggestion - if you are buying it for snowplowing, buy a backblade instead. Without power steering, those front end loaders are a real bear.
Whatever you choose, good luck, be careful, and have fun!

i made a plow out of a pice of 18 ga. iron at our sheetmetal shop welded a3"chanl at bottom made brackets for end loader and for top hyd. man i can pile snow 10' high.i made it 8' wide and 18"high with curve.what a plow.

The pipe style front loaders in my area are listed for $200-$400. Have trip buckets and don't come with the front mount hydraulic pumps.
Looking at my 8n I'd swap out the current 19" rims (4" width) for 16" rims and tire with more load carrying capacity. I'd give the back blade idea some serious consideration as well. Chains help too.

I have a FEL that I removed from a 8N that I'm never putting back on its in CT. If you're near CT I'd be happy to part with it.

Thanks for the valuable information guys. I'm checking out that Paulson front-end loader and have already sent them an Email.

I am 100% positive that you will be hearing from me again. My next purchase is going to be a JD 4020D. Thanks Again!!
