Tire research

If I were a person looking for a general idea of tractor tire prices, where would one look for the lowest and highest prices? I'd like to get a range before I call a local fella and get locked into a price and design. I'd rather see tread patterns and brands to go with the values.

www.millertire.com would be a good place to start. Tell them in at Zurchers that you got a price from Miller. I bought a 11/12 -38 tube from them a coupla months a go and they gave me a price and I said Miller wanted 45 bucks and the guy said oh I looked under the wrong list and then said 46.50. I was there and Miller tire is on the other side of Archbold Ohio so I bought it.

You might ask Tony over a Smith tire. They can get them.

I see today that you guys got some new cars. Did you get one? Kinda stealth. The light bar is real low. You have to be right on it to see. Good thing I don't speed. :)^D

Thats just unnessicary. I really hope whatever sick SOB that sits around all day making commments like that gets the help he needs. Or his face bashed in. Prefurably both.

Theres some things you just dont joke about.

I think it's safe to say that nobody on this forum could give a damn about anything you have to say. It is obvious that you are just trying to deliberately be a cold and callous a$$, but on second thought, you don't even have to try. You are one! Perhaps you should experiment with sticking your head in a big pail of water and only taking it out once. You and your comments are not acceptable nor wanted on this or any other YT forum. Davediehl is a well respected and resourceful addition to this forum and you are not. You are a coward! Go away, you are not wanted here now or anytime in the future. Dave

I work for the government spending your money given to me. If you are missing the nuts to post a name, you are nothing to anyone and mean absolutely nothing to me. Crawl back under your rock until you have a name. I have better things to occupy my time and it looks as if you need a hobby and a life. Grow up young grasshopper, you shall be a man someday.

I get a new car in April. There is 145,500 on the 2005 I am in currently. The low profile bars are nice, but I'd rather be seen and know people see me. I refuse to drive a fully unmarked car due to the lack of visibility. You get one car behind you coming up to an accident scene, others can't see the lights in the back windows. Sucks for safety at the scene.

Been out most of the night hunting a barn burner. There has been 4 in the past 2 weeks. I rolled up on another one tonight that was open burning in 7 places. We are getting alot more agressive at night just to identify people and vehicles in the area.

Tony Smith said he would give me tires at cost knowing why I need them. He already did on the fronts, I would like to see if I can find the original tread design of 45 degrees. Miller Tire doesn't list them and I'd like to have the info if/when I look around here. Zurchers are always high and I don't play the "well let me see what we can do with that price" game once they tell you the cost. If you want to sell me something, you better make it worth my time the first time around.

I would think about what use will the new tires will see as sopme treads and why maybe 6ply or tube or tubless many things to consider. You can price NEBRASKA TIRE,TUCKERS TIRES,TIRE TOWN easy to get some ideas on prices tread design so forth.
