I bought this gem for 1100 locally, and have been working on getting it back up to top notch. It runs great, but had a blown up PTO shaft and PTO shift collar sleeve. Came with new PTO shaft, New tires, and lots of other spare parts. Ive got a PILE of new parts to install on her, and can't wait until this weekend to do so!!!

I'm new around here, new to tractors, but I am super excited to finally have something to do some work with.

What do you guys think??

These were taken in my buddies pecan orchard.

I apologize for the poor photos, but my cellphone was all I had before I split the tractor apart for PTO shaft repair.

It looked alot better before Osama sat on it!

All kidding aside, good buy on the 'ol gal!

Great Find... Thats tyhe way i like top get them, Stuff that can easily Be replaced and Maintenance details, Good Job!! Larry

I've owned one of those since the early 80s. The one I have has a Sherman combo tranny and a heavy duty loader on it. Nice tractor but no Live PTO which is a bummer. I even have the original owners manual for the one I have

Very nice! You bought it right too. You'll find lots of expertise and help on the Ford section of the forum. I have 2 1955 850's, a 1959 821, a 1963 2000, and a 1964 4000. You won't be disappointed.

I spent a lot of time on one in the late sixties. It had a full hyd. loader and an Elenco front assist. I ran over my bosses mailbox with it one day, while pulling two wagons from one side of the house to the other. He could get upset but this day he just laughed.

You done good. Only thing you can find around here most of the time that will start and pull it's self for under two grand would be an H.

Have fun and be careful with it.

Good luck.

Dave
