Big Tractor Parade in Georgia

Just wanted to let everyone know that the small farming community of Bostwick, GA will be having its annual Cotton Gin Festival on Saturday, Nov. 1. There"s a parade and LOTS of antique tractors that gather and parade through town. It"s one of the largest tractor gatherings I"ve seen in GA, and usually some very rare machines including a UDLX and some huge plains tractors from the 1920s, I think. The town"s antique working cotton gin will be in operation so that visitors can tour it. Here is a link with some photos.

On the Bostwick Cotton Gin Festival web page, front page photos, left column, seventh photo down, there is a tractor pulling a log "dolly" or trudle trailer, with a car rear end lift, it looks like. Carrying a real log. Does anybody recognize this type of equipment? I would like to learn more about it, are they home built? Shop built? Proper name? Photos of them? I have tinkered with making similar trailers but looks like it's been done, long time ago. Thanks for any help, Paul in Mississippi

I was down thru the Missouri Bootheel last weekend and saw all the Cotton being harvested there, didn't realize they raised that much cotton in Missouri.
