does anyone out there have any Info on the superior seperator Co in hopkins minn,
the farhand people back then??
like to find out some stuff on these things,
F,K,

My late Uncle bought the first hydraulic loader sold in Towner County, ND during WWII. They had to go through a big kniption with the County Rationing Board to get it, by agreeing to do custom haying ffor the neighbors.

I still have the loader, and (somewhere) the original paperwork and assembly/parts manual.

It was a "Farmhand", made by the Superior Separator Co. in Minneapolis.

I don't know when the dropped the "Superior Separator" name and became just Farmhand.

I drove past their old plant in Green Isle yeesterday. Was used for several storage & small manufaturers. It burned badly about a year ago, just mostly a couple acres of rubble now. Surprised it isn't cleaned up by now.
