Hi Jason, I got an idea run em the tractors I mean --LOL

Seriously if pets arn't in danger set out poison bait.

I had a case of chipmunks and mice two weeks ago havn;t seen any since their last visit, Had to keep the dog away from the shead till I removed the last box of pioson.

Catch ya in the chatroom--

Bait boxes. Interesting things about mice. They're VERY curious and you can bait them in in 24-48 hours. Second thing, they rarely go much more than a 10 foot radius. Just poison in a bait box, you'll have them.

CATS... I tellin Ya' thats the Ticket, I used to have alot of them rats and didn't like (Cats), but a few Houses have Been Built around here, hence cats around, I can't remember when I've seen anything resembling a rat,I'm happy! Larry

If you're referring to the ones in a Farmall clutch housing, they were put there in the factory. You don't wanna remove 'em, or the correct police will be all over you.

Where are they in your tractors? My Farmall F-20 was packed full of mouse crap in the clutch housing when I got it. Got it cleaned out an the clutch works again.

Bucket traps. You put about 2" or so of water in the bucket, next you get a wire and run some shreaded wheat onto the wire. put maple syrup and peanut butter on the shreaded wheat or other bait. slide the bait away from the side of the bucket far enough that the mice can't quite reach it and will want to step on the wire. Next put a board next to the bucket so the mice can walk up the board to the wire.
I used this in elk camp and got 19 in one night. Ron

Take a bucket and fill 34 full of water.Take a pop can and poke a hole thru each end large enough for a piece of coat hanger wire to go thru. Place each end of the coat hanger on each side of the bucket. Put peanut butter on the pop can. When the mouse smells the bait he will walk on the wire to the pop can and when he stops to eat the bait the can will swivel tossing the mouse into the bucket of water. We use these at the moose camps and they always work,

Dryer sheets stuffed into any area that the mice seem interested in, on the engine and chassis! Seem to work on lawn tractors and mowers.
