way ot ar15

was wondering about getting an ar-15 with 20in barrel and fix stock. anyone own one of these what brands would you all prefer.

i've got a colt ar-15 with the match grade barrel. i love it. really good all around gun. keep it clean and use good quality ammunition and i'll have no trouble.

Have a Colt AR-15 with heavy barrel, and fixed stock. Got it pre-ban for $800 brand new. Simple answer, LOVE IT!!! very accurate, easy to shoot, and reliable.

I have a Colt with a heavy 16 inch barrel and fixed stock. I like the shorter barrel for getting in and out of the truck. Haven't noticed any accuracy and only minimal velocity loss from the shorter barrel. Heard good things about Rock River Arms, heard bad things about Smith&Wesson.

I have two Colts with the 16" heavy barrel w/folding stock and one Colt W/ full stock with a 20" heavy barrel. I like the short ones as they are a lot handier and just as accurate.

Armalite makes an excellent weapon M4A1 is what they call it but it's just the same as those AR and in fact Armalite is the company founded by the the guy Eugene Stoner who invented the AR15 stay away from bear arms there trash.

Rock River arms, DPMS Panther arms, Olympic Arms all sell good AR15s. Rock River and Olympic Arms have lifetime warranties making them exceptional values for the price.

why dont ya just built one. that way you will have all the goodies you want. i have built 4 now. there are alot of different goodies for them. get a superior receiver, or any good quality receiver, an then start from there. it isnt that hard, you can download the assemble guild at Ar15.com for free. next one is goin to be a AR10 though.
just my 2 cents
