while looking thru the adds on this site I have come across the abbreviation NOS and i was wondering what it meant. thanks Derrick

New old stock. It means that it was made back in the day and is unused. Often they were parts that were sitting on dealer's shelves, in people's barns etc. They are often more expensive since there is a finite amount of them available.

NOS means old parts never sold/used. (NEW OLD STOCK) probably on the shelf for years and never sold before. Great parts!!

NOS = New Old Stock

Add's = 2+2, 5+4 and so on.

Ad's = Advertisment. 8)
