Propane prices????

I am finding all over the board... quoted 1.89(20 cent new customer discount) up to 2.38... In the Lafayette Indiana area.

What is everyone seeing? Price keeps dropping on the open market, I wonder how long the lag is to see cheaper prices form the local dealer....

Heres what I do: I have 2- 100 pound tanks/40 gallon have them filled for $55. when they run out I put 20 lb BBQ tanks on then have the 100 lb refilled.This works out to be about $1.37/gallon and I dont get shocked by that HUgE bill.

I have gotten some cards in the mail from amerigas and Ferrell gas with special offers for first fill up. the one was for $2.09 good price , but I filled up when it was high. I won't need any until about Jan. then it will be high again.

I think it was $1.95 from Amerigas here in Lafayette two weeks ago for the dryer.

Amerigas quoted my 1.89 since I hadn't bought from them in over a year... they said a 20 cent discount....
