A IHC Tractor

I Have a friend that has a Model A IHC & it has been painted white originally it appears. Someone has painted red over it. Was there a white one from the factory. Thanks Bud

They were demonstrator models.

His model should be a SUPER A as they were painted White in March in 1950. A regular A would not have been White You can find the serial # and cast codes. Then it can be determined if it was an original from factory.

If it is an "A", it was red from the factory.

If it is a "Super A", it MAY have been white from the factory IF it was made in the first few months of 1950.

Otherwise, somebody painted it white after the factory.
