OT- stainless scrap price

I've got an old dairy bulk tank i need to get rid of.Anyone know what they are paying for
stainless?

We have a good rep with our dealer, and he gives us real good pricing. It was about $1/lb a few months ago. Down to a little over $.50/lb a few weeks ago.

'un-processed' meaning not cut up in little pieces was $.35 a pound last week. Should have sold it in June.

Old dairy tanks with blown refer lines sell for 1$ a gallon locally for the all stainless kind, half that for painted ones.
