It is simply the same thing as light bulbs in a box. Ripoff.

Put in a ceiling fan and use it. We keep ours going 24/7 year round to heat in winter an cool in summer.
You will notice the different 5 minutes after you turn it on and the cost is a lot less than a heater and it cost way less to run it.

The only advantagae I see with the EdenPure 1000 Gen 3 is that it produces 5,000 BTUs from almost 1500 watts at much lower temperature and therefore does not present a fire hazard as hot filaments in conventional electric heaters do. I guess the $400 price includes substantial research and development costs in addition to a sales commission.
