Have varnish depoists in gas tank,been sitting for years,like glue. How do I dissolve

murattic (sp) acid but then when done you will need to wash out and dry then coat with oil or it will rust fast.

Acetone will loosen up the varnish!

Can you get some E-85 gas? It works well at loosening that stuff up and it is the cheapest way to do it. $2.49 gal here.

pour some seafoam in the tank and put a new fuel filter on it then get ready to change it after it plugs up

Laquer thinner and a section of metal chain should do the trick....
