after 8 days I have electricity,man a nice hot shower and a toilet I can flush without a bucket of pondwater are nice. did I miss anything imporntant? I didn't see any posts from Lanse I figure either the storm blew him away or he found out about G-I-R-L-S.

He may have electric but still may not have internet, cable or phone. I only lost electric for two hours last sunday, but cable and internet were out 'till thursday. I still only have about half the cable channels. That was an unprecedented storm that came through Ohio and the midwest.
