Ihave a son that is 31 years old he is the best mech, but is lazy so is his girl. i am 53 been self employed for 30 years sence the farm my grandad said if a zebra does not show his stripes by 30 he never will?

I guess I didn't catch your question. Son and girlfriend lazy? Then I guess they will not do so well. Dont enable them by giving them money or paying their bills or bailing them out.

Tough love is the best route in the long run. I have a son in the Navy because of the same basic reasons. Made a grown up outa him.

I have a girl that works as a cook and mows grass on the side, nice house good kids. age 32 I have another who is 29,on aid, gov pays her to go to school when she want`s to, wont work, gov pays the rent while I work at least 50hr a week and hold anther job on the side, wife owns a small store.

My daughter is basically living in her car these days. But the good news is, its because she is just staying at the airport where she is a ticket agent, so she can work other peoples shifts and grab a nap in between. The reason? She just borrowed $3,000 to buy a used car, and has set a goal to have it paid off in 3 months. Around the family, we have called her "the worker bee" since she was 10.

That is about the craziest thing I have heard yet. How do you think people come to know him? magic? luck? I sure hope you are not responsible for leading people away from Him. I know it says it would be better for you to have a millstone tied to your neck and thrown into the depths of the sea than to be responsible for leading others astray.

That's admirable, you should be proud of her. The majority of the youth have no ambition in todays society..........the majority of the responsiblity belonging to parents, or the lack thereof!

I'm not into all that but I have 32 year old son that drives a semi on third shift everynight and is a volunteer fireman and a partime cop and gets paid for copping and still has a hard time making it his ex is the what we think is the problem and as we all know a good woman can fix a lot of things so I'm thinking this could be your sons problem a bad woman.

I don't know what to say i was upset the other nite. my other son works with me and keeps up three kids that are not his own. i am sorry that this got intoa knot like this but i had to vent.still love both of them but at 31 he needs to grow up. DAD.
