found this while looking for some atv info on the net. check out the videos of this machine with the bush hog mowing a swamp, and the backhoe attachment. this would be the berries for cleaning up ditches!!!!!

Lots of those things around here. But the company that makes them is only about 50 miles from me.
They use them for survey crews; to cut power line right of ways. The elec and phone company has a bunch of them. They even make them large enough you can mount a large excavator on them.

When the cellulosic ethanol process is perfected, this would be a great machine to harvest cattails and native grass swamps. Awful lot of forage goes wasted every year.
 
They're great if you like to work on things and expensive parts. Got one broke down in my shop now. The smaller one I have has plastic sprockets. They don't last long. We use them to spray power rights-of-ways for brush.

Uh, oh, harvesting cattails and anything in a swamp means you'll be violating 85 laws and countless wetlands regulations. LOL. Like the guy in TX some years ago, they'll ruin your life. Imagine what it would have been like 100-200 years ago if the tree-huggers, EPA and state DEQ were around. There would not have been a tree cut or swamp filled in this country.
