farmall B decals

Finished painting my Farmall B and received the decals in the mail Saturday. Their are a couple that do not look original and were not on the tractor before. At least I don"t think so. One is a oil level decal, one talks about using both brakes and deals with operation of the tractor. The other is a shift diagram. On my other Farmalls this is on the gas tank but I don"t recall one on the B. The shift pattern is already stamped into the cast by the gear shift lever. Their is also a large while decal on it with some safety info. Advise on where these go and if they should be on there at all would be apprecaited. Thanks.

Sounds like a generic set. The oil level and shift pattern would not be right for a B. The decal warning about locking the brakes when in road gear and the one about stopping the PTO before dismounting go on the top of the fuel tank, one ahead of the other.

My Guy Fay Originality Guide is lent out at the moment (to a guy I really REALLY trust) so
I'm not able at this moment to tell you aexactly how far back of the fuel cap they go or which one goes ahead of the other. For that matter, IIRC, the IH drawings in the book show that placement for a SuperA and I relied on that for mine, as the drawings for the A and B dealt only with the hood decals.
